Why We Built ExifCheck
Photos can contain GPS coordinates, device details, dates and other metadata, but not every file has these fields. ExifCheck provides free tools to inspect what its reader can return and prepare sharing copies. Review the final file and visible content before publishing.
Our Privacy Promise
The current image tools use JavaScript to process selected files locally in your browser without uploading those images. Local image processing is not a guarantee of anonymity or complete metadata detection. Website analytics and advertising are separate; see the Privacy Policy for details.
How we check our guides
Guides distinguish documented behavior, synthetic tests and real-device tests. We do not treat sample values as camera measurements. Corrections include a revision date; report an error with the page URL and a non-sensitive example. Site maintenance is credited to ExifCheck, without implying independent security certification.
